The Access Project

The ACCESS Project is committed to creating pathways to success by addressing the challenges young people face. We provide access to essential resources, mentorship, and community support, ensuring every youth feels heard, valued, and empowered. Through engaging programs and partnerships, we break down barriers and open doors to new opportunities.

Who We Are

Launched in late 2022, is a collaborative movement bringing together governmental officials, educators, faith leaders, community organizations, and wellness professionals to support and uplift youth in South Snohomish County.

We are dedicated to empowering marginalized and underserved young people—especially BIPOC youth—by providing access to supportive services, mentorship, and positive community connections. As a nonprofit, we serve as a ‘navigation hub’, helping youth connect with the right programs, resources, and opportunities to grow and thrive.

In partnership with the Edmonds School District, Everett Public Schools, and other local organizations, Starting in January 2024, we offer enriching activities such as Peer Mediation, sports, art, poetry, and music — creating spaces where youth can build confidence, trust, and meaningful relationships.

In response to growing concerns in Lynnwood and South Snohomish County, we are committed to offering youth ages 13 to 17 real alternatives that promote wellness, leadership, and belonging. Youth 12 and under are welcome to participate with parental or guardian consent.

Beyond activities, The ACCESS Project will facilitate youth focus groups, work closely with wellness professionals and service organizations, and collaborate with law enforcement to create impactful, positive solutions. Our approach to engaging youth includes outreach through social media, website resources, and community presentations to connect with both young people and their families.

By addressing the mental health crisis and strengthening community connections, The ACCESS Project aim to make a lasting, positive impact in South Snohomish County.
